Some conferences, programs and workshops are BOCES Aidable, direct (if your district is a component district of the host BOCES) or through cross contract (if your district is not a component district of the host BOCES). 

NOTE 1: To participate in a local BOCES CO-SER the local school district does not issue a purchase order or check. Rather, the local BOCES will contract for this service and will bill the local school district.
NOTE 2: Processing through a BOCES is only payment for participation. Participants must still register for the workshop. This is a separate process.

Two or more New York State school districts may want to pay for programs or workshops through participation in a BOCES COSER and receive BOCES Aid.  You may want to work with another school district (cooperative service) through your local BOCES to pay for this program through a local School Improvement CO-SER and receive BOCES Aid..
