From Albany or points north of Albany, take US I-87 (Adirondack Northway) North to Exit 37, sign reading "Exit 37 NY 3 to Plattsburgh / Saranac Lake."
Go 0.9 miles on the exit ramp to the light at NY Route 3, Blake Road.
At the stoplight turn right onto Route 3 (East). The Best Western Inn at Smithfield is on your left just past the next stoplight (before the US I-87 overpass).
