Fall Sailing Trip - October 10-12, 2009
'Mystic Whaler' Schooner, Baltimore, MD

The twin mast schooner Mystic Whaler has a home port in New London, CT.  The Mystic Whaler is 87' at the waterline, 110' overall, 98 Gross Ton, steel hull.  In the spring it sails on the Hudson River with the Clearwater fleet.  In the summer it sails out on New London.  In the fall it sails out of Baltimore, MD.

Join us, Jim and Marcia Merrins, aboard the Mystic Whaler for the Columbus Day weekend.  This is soft adventure sailboat cruising.  It is not for everyone.  We sail during the day, and anchor out or tie up at a dock at night.  We are on deck during the day, in the weather, which can be comfortable, cool or cold, wet (rainy) or dry.  Cabins are 6' x 6' (three feet of space of standing and three feet of bunk (up and down).  Shared toilets.  This is one step above backpack camping.

Now that we have given fair warning - this is a great boat, a good time, great food (all included). The feel of the boat under sail is glorious.  There are always things to watch in the harbor and in the Chesapeake Bay.  We have been sailing on the Mystic Whaler for over 20 years.

We do not have exclusive use of the boat, so if you're interested you should reserve space sooner rather than later.  22 spaces left as of April 1, 2009
