Currently are employed, experienced school executive leaders.
Currently posses or qualify for NYS School Administration and Supervision (SAS) Certification or NYS School District Administrator (SDA) Certification.
Supervisors and peers recognize as having the potential to assume the responsibilities of the position of Superintendent of Schools.
Successfully complete the application process, which includes a confidential interview and the submission of all required documents.

The program cost for the Superintendent Development includes
tuition for nine (9) graduate credits from Oswego State University.

SDP Program Costs
2009 Program Tuition is $4,450
85% of associates in the SDP attend with their local school district paying the full cost of tuition, either direct (BOCES cross contract) or through reimbursement provisions in their administrator-district contract.
If the participant pays, the school district may reimburse the participant and/or costs may be paid in two fiscal years. If a school district pays, the coordination portion of the cost is BOCES aidable and/or costs may be paid in two fiscal years.
