Educational Support Services – ESS
Educational Support Services (ESS) was established in 2008, owned and operated by James M. Merrins, Ed.D., to provide New York statewide professional support services to PreK-12 school administrators and school district officers.  The ESS meets the educational development needs of educational leaders and the school community by providing independent consulting services to public school professionals.

Educational Leadership Institute – ELI
The Educational Leadership Institute was established in 2008 as a statewide provider of high quality professional development programs to serve the PreK-12 academic community in New York. The efforts of the ELI focus on contemporary issues affecting the policies and practices of PreK-12 educational institutions, including their implications for strategic planning, organizational development, and leadership decision making. Several programs are operational including the: 4-day Transition to Superintendency Program; 3-day workshop Fiscal Navigation for Superintendents; and The School District Negotiator. Programs are offered at statewide locations.  James M. Merrins, Ed.D. (Indiana University, ’79) is the Executive Program Administrator for the Educational Leadership Institute.

New York State Association for Women in AdministrationNYSAWA
The New York State Association for Women in Administration was established in 1990 to address the lack of women in educational leadership positions. It was the genesis of a group of individuals who met to develop at statewide network, now known as NYSAWA. This group determined to create programs to identify and promote women in leadership. In 2015 the organization established the Educational Leadership Institute (ELI @ NYSAWA) to expand its professional development outreach and offerings to the Pre-K-12 education community. In 2017 NYSAWA established The Partnership with The Council (NYSCOSS) for mutual support and programming, especially with women leadership issues.

New York State Council of School Superintendents – NYSCOSS
The New York State Association for Women in Administration (NYSAWA) has established The Partnership with the New York State Council of School Superintendents (NYSCOSS) to provide mutual support and programming with women leadership issues.

School District Internal Auditing AllianceSDIAA
The SDIAA is an independent group of School District Internal Auditors, School District Claim Auditors, School District Audit Committee Members, and school administrators working to provide understanding, technical training (knowledge, skills, techniques, and strategies), and support in the professional community of internal auditing. This independent group of auditing professionals is hosted by the ELI @ NYSAWA is not affiliated with any federal, state, or local government, or any other professional organization or society.

Castallo & Silky was formed in 2000 when Education Management Associates and Educational Services Associates consulting firms joined forces.  By joining forces, Dr. Castallo and Dr. Silky crafted a strategic alliance to better serve current and future clients of both firms. Castallo & Silky provides a variety of management services to school districts. Castallo & Silky has a national scope with offices on both the east coast (Syracuse, New York) and west coast (Los Angeles, California).
